Somewhat oddly, the Board of Trustees at embattled Antioch College is giving a group of alumni the chance to try to do what they, the Trustees, were unable to do: keep the school from shutting down.
Trustees agreed to give the alumni a few weeks to devise "a realistic business plan with required benchmarks as established by the Trustees."
It would be great for the alumni if Antioch could stay in business, but aren't the alumni just doing what the Trustees are charged to do in the first place? Keep the place running?
