An advanced workshop covering four areas: technology platforms and trends, usage patterns and metrics, applicability to educational institutions, and strategic integration of Web 2.0 tools in institutions development and outreach.
The workshop uses case studies of international aspects of alumni relations, marketing, recruiting and learning. Participants will be asked to share an example of their institution's Web 2.0 usage based on a template provided by the workshop's organizer, Dr. Daniel Guhr of Illuminate Consulting Group.
This is not an entry level workshop. It requires expertise in social media and Internet-based communications and community platforms. Participants will also be asked to prepare a case study ahead of the workshop.
