This Thursday is Thanksgiving, a national holiday in the United States. Many U.S. readers will be taking the week off, so instead of a long, philosophical treatise, this week I'll just post a couple of instructive or cautionary posts that I noticed on Twitter.
The first one is a comment from a "Seasoned Alumni Girl" who has advice for undergraduate students attending a networking event:
Sound advice.
The second is a comment from an engaged alumnus who would rather have this week off from alma mater's activities:
Regardless of what you're wearing or when you prefer your alumni events to happen, enjoy Thanksgiving if you're in the U.S.
Alumni Futures will return next week with some thoughts about LinkedIn, and the vulnerability of professional networks.
